Three.14 is an independent bakery and coffee shop in Edinburgh based in the southside of the city near Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park. The space is undoubtedly small and we've used that to our advantage, creating a very informal, homely and cosy environment which is often likened to spending time in owner Ashley's kitchen. You'll often find yourself chatting amongst strangers, and we really like that.
Owner and baker, Ashley, has worked for some of Edinburgh's most highly regarded bakeries specialising in sourdough bread, viennoiserie and traditional cakes. And the focus at Three.14 is definitely on the cake counter, with an emphasis on seasonal produce and flavours. We love babka, buns and traditional home baking along with some interesting and modern flavour combinations.
There is also a small all-day brunch menu which centres around the wonderful sourdough bread from Twelve Triangles bakery, based in Leith.
We are proud to use Williams & Johnson coffee, tea from Rosevear, Coco Chocolatier hot chocolate and also sodas made right here in Edinburgh. So by supporting this little local bakery you also support several other independent businesses across the city.
